Ida Jolić

Ida Jolić (1989, Zagreb). In year 2011 she starts her dance education in Tanzfabrik school (Berlin) where she gains knowledge in contemporary dance with international choreographers and teachers and where she gets a certificate as a dancer. In 2015 she starts her dance education in Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb where she gains a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Pedagogy.
As a dancer she danced in various performances within Croatian and international production. In year 2015. she choreographs and performs a short solo as a young reactor in Break a leg TASK LAB on Platform of Young Choreographers Festival.
In year 2019 she choreographs and performs a dance performance ‘Transformers’ with coauthor Marin Lemić. For ‘Transformers’ she won two Awards of Croatian Dancers Association: for the best performance and for the best choreography (together with Marin Lemić). Also, Ida and Marin were nominated for Croatian Actor Award 2020 for best choreography in ‘Transformers’.
In last five years she also works as a contemporary dance teacher with amateurs and professionals and in last two years she holds dance workshops in other cities in Croatia.
Since 2018 she works as an assistant in contemporary dance technique in dance department on Academy of Dramatic Arts with doc. art. Petra Hrašćanec.
2019 she becomes a member of Studio – Contemporary Dance Company.
