Nastasja Stefanic Kralj is a dance artist, musician, dance and music teacher. She holds a BA and an MA degree in viola which she received from the Music Academy in Zagreb and a BA degree in contemporary dance that she studied at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb.
Nastasja makes her own pieces and collaborates regularly with both Croatian and foreign artists. Her choreographic works were performed at festivals in Croatia and abroad- Zagreb Dance Week (Croatia), Echo Echo Dance Festival (UK), L1danceFest (Hungary), Bazaar Festival (the Czech Republic), Monoplay (Croatia), Perforacije (Croatia), Soundance (Germany), ANTISEZONA (Croatia), Suffolk Shorts Film Festival (UK), Athens Video Dance Project (Greece). As a dancer she performed in Serbia, Montenegro, Belgium, Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Romania and Slovenia.
Nastasja has won numerous awards and scholarships; among them is the Rector’s award for her work Cadenza per 6.
In 2022, she was awarded by Croatian professional dance associations, for the best solo dance performance in the 2021/2022 season.
She works as a teaching assistant at the Drama department and as a guest teacher at the Dance department, both at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She is a member of Croatian Dancers Association and Croatian Freelance Artists Association.
In 2024 she became a member of the Studio- contemporary dance company.
